“Initial Review
I contacted Jake a number of weeks ago, but we crossed signals (I missed the Skype message he sent). I got back in touch last week, asking for the ‘trial’.
I sent a pretty involved ‘task list’ including opening SB accounts, bookmarking for over a dozen sites with specific keywords & tags, and some other tasks. Most importantly, I asked for reporting, and to communicate directly with the VA.
The next day I received a very well-done spreadsheet including all the SB accounts that were opened, login details, etc. Also on the spreadsheet was each site I had given, plus the URL to the bookmark that was made, and it was all well-organized on a multi-page worksheet.
There were a few tasks that weren’t addressed, but as soon as I mentioned it, Jake offered to follow up directly with the VA.
The following day I began putting together another task list. I also emailed Jake asking about arranging direct Skype communication. About 5 minutes after sending the email, I get Skyped by a young woman in RP.
We messaged back and forth for a bit so I could go into a little more depth and detail about my backlinking and bookmarking requirements. She was well-spoken, perfectly good English, and completely understood everything I spoke to her about.
Of course it’s only been 2 days, but I’m impressed enough with the VA that Jake assigned (full-time) – and that was my biggest concern, that they be fairly intelligent and speak reasonably good English, and that I be able to communicate directly with them – that I’ve asked to begin setting up a 2nd full-time VA w/ Project Manager.

I have been using First Page Web Search for months now and they are fantastic. Jake always gets back to me promptly. I recently had to drastically add to my work force and Jake had me set up with 2 SEO VA’s and 2 Content Writers within 2 days (talked to him on a Friday and had them ready to go on Monday).
I get reports from my VA’s each day and I am able to send them ebooks or reports (mostly WSO‘s ha ha) that I would like to implement and they get right on it with minimal hand holding.

“I just thought I’d leave a review after using this service for a week.
First off, I was a little worried hiring people outside of the U.S., but after seeing the results and the attractive pricing, it’s a no brainer. The customer support is also top notch. Jake responds to my emails right away and I have direct communication with my outsourcer through email and google talk. I did the two day trial and was impressed with work that was done. My outsourcer built around 200 profile backlinks in the trial period using some of the high pr backlink packets that can be found on the wso forum. I was satisfied with the work and saw instant increases in my rankings for the terms I was targetting. 2 articles along with a brand new website all show major increases. We all know the power of the link packets I’m sure. Anyway, the past week of work was on par with my expectations. His team members can build around 100 profile links a day. I mean, some people on the wso forum charge around $50/100 backlinks and more, while I can be getting 450-600 high pr backlinks a week for $75 a week. You do the math. “I have to speak up and say Firstpage has been nothing but top notch. From when I first contacted him it was less than a week later that we had a graphics designer onboard working away. The worker is fluent in English and has been knowledgeable of adobe CS3. We have no complaints at all.
Everyone has been very cooperative and willing to do whatever we want to make us happy. I would recomend them without hessitation.
You have to realize that it will take a bit of time with any new person to get up to speed working with you. This happens with all employees in all businesses but it is especially important when telecomuting.

“I have quite a few sites and one of the biggest challenges I was having was making the time to do all of the link building necessary to get the results I need in the search engines. So I saw Jake’s offer here and thought I would give it a try. I have been doing internet marketing for a while and know exactly what keywords I wanted to target so I sat down for 10 minutes or so and typed them all into a spreadsheet along with the links I wanted promoted for each. I sent this to Jake and it took me a bit to catch up with him but caught him on Skype and he immediately assigned a VA and they started on the tasks that day.
I have had no problems with communication to my VA and they quickly corrected a few minor things that I noticed in the way they were building the links after sending a simple email. I get a detailed report every day with the location of each link that has been set up. I have only checked the work a couple of times since I always find the links right where the report says they will be.
One of the link building projects I was having done was on a simple site with fairly low competition keywords and after only a week it is already ranking page one for that term.
